Volunteer
Friends of Pastorius park is always looking for new volunteers to get involved with our efforts. Not only is volunteering a great way to contribute to maintaining a much-loved community space, but is a great way to meet your neighbors and stay in shape!
Volunteer Tasks May Include:
- Weeding and weed whacking
- Spreading mulch and maintaining new planting beds
- Tree care and regular watering during drought
- Clearing walkways of sticks and branches

9:00am - 12:00pm
Come help us get the park ready for the season ahead. We will be focusing on mulching trees and garden beds to protect them from the winter temps. Tools provided, gloves recommended, wheel barrows welcome. Click here to complete the Volunteer Waiver Form online.
Volunteer Tips
What to Wear / Bring:
- Work gloves
- Sturdy boots/sneakers – no open toed shoes
- Long pants. Protect yourself against ticks, poison ivy and stinging nettle
- Clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty
- Sun protection
- Reusable water bottle
